Final post

Hello for the last time as I plan to end the blog with this post. I will be talking about the experiences that I had while taking the course.  Before taking the course I always thought technology integration in education was not cost-efficient and not all that necessary, especially in language teaching. Unfortunately, my opinion hasn't changed drastically. I am not the only one to think like this,  Saro Mohammed (2018) says  "Perhaps the best-kept secret of research on ed-tech is the fact that teachers and teaching remain the most important influences on learning. Tech or no tech, effective learning is all about teaching." and I agree, the money and effort spent into technology can be spent on training teachers or creating better class environments (classrooms with fewer students, etc.) Among the tasks, I think the most progressive one was the storytelling one. On our how-to video, we focused on lucid dreaming. It is lucid dreaming when you are aware that you are in a dream and control what is happening around you. I have tried it in the past, got it right once, and controlled my dream but forgot about it eventually but a lot of pe...

About online classes and infographics

According to the Oxford English Dictionary , an infographic (or information graphic) is “a visual representation of information or data”. But the meaning of an infographic is something much more specific. Infographics are a valuable tool for visual communication. The most visually unique,  creative infographics  are often the most effective because they grab our attention and don’t let go. The topic of my infographic may not be all fun and games but I enjoyed making it regardless. Click here to see the infographic
